Collier's Photographic is a family run business based in the Uplands area of Swansea. We sell photographic accessories, cameras, albums, frames, batteries, darkroom equipment, bags, pouches, projectors, filters, binoculars, tripods and much more. We also offer a long established, high quality printing service from 35mm black and white, 35mm colour and digital formats. We can print images from 6"x 4" up to 36"x 24". More recently we have introduced our 'photograph to canvas' service, where we can produce a very high quality box canvas images from film, slide, prints and digital formats. Every canvas is hand produced on the premises and then finished by applying two or three coats of satin varnish to the canvas, providing protection against UV light, and dirt. Our staff are all highly trained and knowledgeable about the services we offer. We are the only local Photography Shop to boast its own resident landscape photographer, selling high quality framed Gower images.


History
Collier's Photographic Services was opened in 1989 and soon became a household name in Swansea. Situated in a 1920's Art Deco style building, it stands out from the terraces either side due to its unique shape and style, being the only Deco style in it's immediate vacinity. Originally only a small shop, after a few years of success, we expanded to occupy the whole building as you see it today. During refurbishment we wished to keep the style and character of the shop, and retained the original Deco Patterned glass, as well as the chrome door handles and other small details.


Old Fashioned Service
We offer good 'Old Fashioned' Service where you will be looked after by knowledgeable staff who are not out to simply 'sell a product'. We want to make sure that you are getting the right product at the right price.
